Periodontal disease and heart disease had been linked to each other. People who are experiencing periodontal disease are more likely to have the risk of heart disease.
Infection and bacteria causes heart disease to occur during the presence of periodontal disease or if left untreated. What causes periodontal disease is that plaque formed from bacteria that produces acid and toxins that irritates the gums thus causing it to be inflamed. A need for periodontal disease treatment is necessary, preventing periodontal disease is not only keeping your oral health healthy but preventing heart disease too.
